    This duck is raised completely free range, chemical and antibiotic free in Taralga, NSW by Tathra Place Free Range family farm producers Luke & Pia Winder.

    The ducks enjoy roaming free in flocks with Maremma dogs to protect them from predators as part of a highly rotational land healing regenerative agricultural system. 

    Pasture-raised naturally and ethically treated by a passionate farmer, with an appreciation and respect for the animals welfare, valuing the food that sustains us and our pets.

    Re: Duck Meal for cats. I really appreciate the quality of this product. It's everything I'm looking for. I mixed in small amounts of the duck with plain kangaroo mince my cats already enjoyed so they could adjust over time and this worked well. They love it. My cats do find the gnarly bits of cartilage a bit troublesome at times. Unfortunately I didn't get them use to this kind of crunchy eating when they were younger. The bits they do eat, are great for them. I do now run my fingers through before I put the bowl on the floor and remove the bigger bits as they were interrupting their eating, putting them off. I like knowing there's organs in there too. As awful as this sounds, one of my cats who doesn't usually like to drink, will lap up the duck blood liquid happily. It's so amazing to see him drinking it all ! I'll definitely continue to keep some of these duck meals in the freezer as an ongoing option for my cats. Definitely worth trying... Great quality. Good Value too. (Personally I don't enjoy preparing any meats for my cats however I love them so much, I buy it and do it with love anyway) I have found these meals are well packaged and easy to work with. Brilliant and yucky all at the same time. ☆☆☆☆

It’s wonderful that you’re easing them in with a mix of kangaroo mince and highlighting the organ content, that is so essential for them. Totally understand about those "gnarly" cartilage bits, they can be a challenge if your cats didn't grow up chewing crunchy textures. Here's a tip that will help:- Grinding by pulsing the thawed meal can break them into smaller, easier-to-chew bits while still keeping the cartilage benefits intact. Cartilage isn’t a filler, it’s packed with collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin, its there for a reason, promoting joint health and many cats find it enjoyable once they get used to the texture, so keep persevering, it promotes excellent dental health too. We’re so glad one of your cats even laps up the duck “blood” and that the packaging is user friendly, it's great feedback. “brilliant and yucky all at the same time” summary really made us smile and we couldn’t agree more, yet so, so very good for them😄 Thanks again for choosing our Duck Meal range and for caring for your cats so thoughtfully.
